The comprehensive thermal insulation and cooling effects of natural ventilation, cold roof and external shading in the hot summer and cold winter zone and the improvement effect on the indoor thermal environment are tested and analysed. The results show that when the three techniques work together, the external shading can block the solar radiation and effectively reduce the heat gain of the window, and the temperature on the outer surface of the glass in the test room is at most 7.6 ℃ lower than that in the reference room. The application of high reflective coating makes the roof surface temperature drop up to 10.3 ℃,which effectively reduces the temperature difference heat transfer of the roof. The natural ventilation system successfully induces continuous and periodic air flow, and has a well pre-cooled effect on the air in the buried pipe. The indoor temperature of the test room is stable between 26.8 and 27.9 ℃,and the indoor thermal environment is significantly improved.
